As a key project within the national Agricultural Opening-up and Cooperation Pilot Zone, the community is dedicated to developing a comprehensive pet service platform that integrates high-end medical treatment, scientific research and innovation, cross-border services, and leisure activities.
Several featured zones within the community have already begun trial operations, including the Nansha International Pet Hospital, a high-end boarding area, an intelligent pet grooming space, and an AI-enhanced cat cafe. The pet hospital, supported by the City University of Hong Kong and the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for diagnosing and treating complex, multi-specialty cases.
The boarding area provides separate rooms for cats and dogs, featuring real-time monitoring and remote interaction capabilities. The intelligent grooming cabin enables fast, automated cleaning, while the cat cafe combines AI technology with a coffee shop setting to offer diverse interactive experiences.
The community also plans to establish an International Pet Industry Association and build a year-round pet activity ecosystem through competitions and events.
