Nansha North Railway Station has recently completed a four-month renovation and has resumed operation with a new look. The upgrade project focused on expanding the canopy, reorganizing passenger flow, and modernizing facilities, greatly enhancing the passenger travel experience.
The station now features a fully extended platform canopy and improved lighting and signage, ensuring passengers can wait comfortably in any weather conditions.

In terms of passenger flow design, the station has redesigned the entry and exit routes, implementing a three-dimensional "enter below, exit above" shunt system. The security check area has been relocated to the first floor, while previously unused space has been transformed into a spacious waiting area, alleviating congestion during peak hours. The second-floor exit passage now features physical separation, ensuring smooth and interference-free movement for both entering and exiting passengers.
For facility upgrades, the ticket office has been moved closer to the entrance, and new ticket machines, security scanners, and automatic fare gates are now fully operational, significantly reducing waiting times. The station square has also undergone a complete upgrade, combining enhanced transportation connectivity with green landscaping to create an urban living room where travelers can rest and relax.
Notably, the former Qingsheng Railway Station was renamed Nansha North Station on Oct 11, marking a significant step in the strategic development of Nansha district's railway hub system.
