Nansha, with its strategic location at the Pearl River's mouth, operates 170 trade routes connecting over 120 countries and regions. Since 2023, the district's development has been bolstered by the development of the Nansha National Agricultural Openness and Cooperation Pilot Zone and the implementation of the "Nansha Plan".
Significant achievements include exporting 120 varieties of pre-cooked dishes via a "one-stop mixed container export model"; surpassing 1 billion yuan ($140.85 million) in value for eel products; and exporting intelligent breeding equipment to South Korea, Vietnam, and Canada.
Liu Wei, Nansha's Party secretary, emphasized at the conference the district's commitment to technology, enterprises, openness, and international exchange, aiming to enhance agricultural cooperation with Hong Kong and Macao.
