The event started with multi-category swimming relays, highlighting the passion of local Nansha residents for aquatic sports. Covering about 55,000 square meters and equipped with a 4,000-seat international standard pool, the venue fulfills the demand for high-quality diving facilities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Zhang Yanquan commended the venue's excellent facilities, highlighting how they offer athletes valuable training opportunities and support the promotion of diving to the public through open interactive events. The exhibition also included synchronized swimming performances, live singing, and interactive activities, with attendees receiving special gifts that showcase Nansha's local culture.

This event celebrated the debut of the swimming and diving hall, confirming its operational readiness and establishing a strong base for hosting future large-scale competitions. Moving forward, Nansha plans to expand its event calendar to include music festivals, sailing regattas, martial arts tournaments, and other major sporting events.
