Nansha launches intl foreign language corner

Nansha district will launch the Nansha International Language Grove · Foreign Language Corner event on the evening of Aug 22 at Innovation Bay.

This event is designed to foster an immersive language setting and serve as a platform for interactions between Chinese and international talents, supporting Nansha in developing a diverse and inclusive global environment.

The event runs from 7 to 9:30 pm and features three main parts: the Language Grove Creative Market with international cuisine, cultural heritage experiences, and a creative cocktail show; a cultural exchange segment including Colombian Latin dance, Russian classical songs, African drumming, and jazz performances; and a free exchange session for participants to share freely. Additionally, onsite activities include fun games and Cantonese golden hits performances.

The Foreign Language Corner will establish a regular schedule: hosting weekly mini-concerts and multilingual stand-up shows, launching cultural month activities centered on different countries every month, and organizing international talent-themed days each season.

This event helps international talents settle into local life, encourages the blending of different cultures, and brings fresh energy to Nansha's growth as a global talent center.
