On July 29, the 2025 Inaugural Greater Bay Area Auto Industry Export Development Conference took place in Nansha district, where the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Industry Export Alliance was announced.

Guangzhou has introduced measures to support auto exports. In the first half of the year, Nansha saw impressive export performance, with several indicators growing in double digits. Its strengths in auto exports have become clear, establishing it as a key gateway for expanding overseas markets.

At the signing ceremony, five enterprises, including Lobal-Ucar and China (Guangzhou) Auto Export Base, entered into strategic cooperation agreements. Nansha Auto Terminal, China Auto Global Sourcing Center, and several auto export and supply chain enterprises signed on-site agreements to enhance Nansha's auto "port + industry + trade" ecosystem.

Nansha Auto Port boasts significant strengths. As the largest ro-ro terminal cluster in South China, it has eight dedicated ro-ro berths and an annual capacity of over three million vehicles. Its modern facilities make it capable of hosting some of the world's largest ro-ro ships.

In the future, Nansha will focus on developing the branding and clustering of auto trade, supporting the Greater Bay Area in establishing a globally influential auto trade hub.
