Sealien (Guangzhou) Technology, a start-up in Nansha district, has achieved remarkable results in high-end marine equipment manufacturing.

The company recently outcompeted giants from multiple countries to secure an order from the United Arab Emirates. This year, it will deliver a deep-sea robot, Phoenix 600, worth nearly $10 million to the Middle East, marking a breakthrough in the commercial export of Chinese deep-sea robots.

Since registering in 2021, Sealien has experienced rapid development. It has introduced a series of advanced deep-sea robots, covering three major international mainstream sectors, with clients in dozens of countries.

In 2024, its order volume exceeded 70 million yuan ($9.77 million). By the second quarter of this year, it had surpassed 100 million yuan, with a target of breaking through 200 million yuan by the end of the year. The company's performance has attracted numerous investors and clients, securing over 200 million yuan in investment.

Sealien has achieved these breakthroughs by relying on the self-sufficiency of its core technologies and enhancing customer trust. The company has assembled a strong research and development team and collaborated with multiple institutions to address problems, accomplishing self-research and self-production of most core components and holding over 200 intellectual property rights.

Sealien has also received substantial support from Nansha, signing an agreement on June 30 to build a new factory and acquiring its industrial land on July 18. The company will continue to iterate on products and develop more deep-sea equipment.
