The exhibition is part of the "2025 Croisements Festival" and has received support from the Consulate General of France in Guangzhou.
On its opening day, the event drew over 150 participants and visitors, showcasing its diverse range of activities.
The exhibition features a wide array of technologies, including AI-assisted creation, which over 50 artists have utilized to reconstruct art forms; XR technology, which blurs the boundaries between reality and virtuality, enhancing interactivity and immersion; and immersive digital art experiences that allow audiences to navigate between reality and virtuality.
Throughout the exhibition, various technology art forums, artist lectures, roundtable discussions, and other engaging activities will be held.
Surreality will run until Aug 26 at HKUST Guangzhou and invites the public to experience these technologies firsthand.
