The inauguration ceremony of the HSBC Global Training Center was held in Nansha, Guangzhou, on June 16.
Located in the Nansha Mingzhu Bay, the center spans 7,000 square meters, making it the HSBC Group's largest training facility worldwide, with a total investment exceeding $150 million.
The construction was completed in February 2022, and it commenced operations in June this year. The center is set to provide annual training for thousands of HSBC Asia-Pacific employees and global senior management.
Serving as a platform for HSBC to expand cooperation and share financial knowledge and skills in the Pearl River Delta and the Chinese mainland, this center is poised to support various exchange and collaborative activities.
Its establishment is set to enhance professional training facilities for financial talents in Nansha, fostering partnerships with financial institutions in China and the world to boost talent development.
With thousands of employees and executives attending training sessions in Nansha every year, this initiative is expected to elevate Nansha's visibility and influence in the financial sector, contributing to the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Looking ahead, Nansha aims to develop this platform for international promotion, expand collaborations with multinational financial groups, and establish an international financial exchange hub.
