The 2025 Nansha Cultural and Creative Competition, in partnership with the national platform China Gift, was launched at Nansha Bay on May 27. This upgraded competition features collaborative tracks created by multiple brand enterprises, forming a complete ecosystem to provide comprehensive support for designers.
The opening ceremony, highlighted by a cultural and creative fashion show, unveiled Nansha's four years of achievements in the field. Olympic diving champion Guo Jingjing emphasized the competition's focus on merging "design + industry" to propel creative works into the market.
With over 5,500 designers participating, it has become a vital platform for cultural synergy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
A key highlight of this year's event is the involvement of China Gift, which helps works enter the market through comprehensive assistance. The competition features seven major thematic directions, emphasizing urban cultural expression and brand application scenarios, along with four exclusive themes in collaboration with various entities.
Following the competition launch, a series of activities were held to showcase the cultural charm of Nansha and drive innovation in the cultural and creative industry. Since its inception, the competition has centered around the Greater Bay Area and is now deepening cooperation with universities and enterprises in Hong Kong and Macao to promote the cross-regional and cross-cultural exchange of design capabilities.
