The construction tasks of the Nansha Second People's Hospital relocation project have been nearly completed, with only a few remaining tasks, such as landscaping and external electrical work. Quality inspections are being carried out simultaneously.
Located north of Qilin New City in Huangge town, the relocation project of Nansha Second People's Hospital covers a land area of over 37,000 square meters and a total construction area exceeding 64,000 sq m. It includes facilities such as an 11-story inpatient building, a four-story emergency and outpatient complex, and a logistics building.
The hospital's relocation project will be renamed Nansha Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, with 350 beds upon completion. The hospital's scale and hardware and software facilities will be improved, alleviating the pressure of aging and insufficient capacity of the original facilities, filling the gap in high-end medical services in the region, and meeting the basic medical needs of the residents.
The construction is an important measure to improve the functional layout of the area and enhance the quality of residents' lives. Once completed, the project is set to improve the conditions of public medical facilities in the area, addressing the challenges of difficulty in seeing specialists and receiving medical treatment in Huangge town and its surroundings.
It will strengthen the capacity for traditional Chinese medicine services, integrate with nursing homes, enhance livability, and support people's health and well-being.
