Power China Urban Planning and Design Institute based in Nansha district, Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province, is off to a good start this year with accumulative contracts worth nearly 16 billion yuan ($2.2 billion) and revenue of more than 1.9 billion yuan ($260 million).

In the first quarter of this year, the value of the company's new contracts exceeded 1.2 billion yuan, with revenues reaching 207 million yuan, making for an impressive start to the year.

Behind these achievements are the economic vitality and business-friendly environment in Nansha, which is an economic hub of the dynamic Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Established in Nansha in 2020, the company, as a strategic cornerstone for Power China, a State-owned energy company, in the Greater Bay Area, has grown in synergy with the urban development of Nansha.

The company acknowledged that Nansha, as a national-level new area, a pilot free trade zone, and a comprehensive demonstration area for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao cooperation, has continuously improved its business environment in recent years, providing support for local enterprises through policy advantages such as tax incentives and talent introduction.

The company aspires to engage in more business exchanges and cooperation with relevant departments in Nansha and industry enterprises to contribute to technological research, development, and application, talent cultivation, and urban development in Nansha and the Greater Bay Area.
