Nansha district to host spring recruitment event with robust talent policies

In response to the "Million Talents Gathering in Guangdong" initiative and to support the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Nansha district will host the Spring Recruitment and Promotion Event at Tianjin University on April 13.

This event will focus on strategic emerging industries such as shipbuilding and marine engineering, bringing together over 10 leading enterprises and offering thousands of positions in research and development, high-end equipment manufacturing, and new materials research.

Furthermore, various policies will be implemented, such as accommodation policies offering free stays in talent apartments for seven nights for university students participating in interviews and 15 nights upon employment.

Recent university graduates can enjoy one year of rent-free accommodation, while other talents receive a 50 percent rent discount. Travel subsidy policies include an 800-yuan ($109) subsidy for inter-provincial interviews and 300 yuan for interviews within the province or outside the city. Hong Kong and Macao students are eligible for the same benefits.

Living allowances will also be available, with newly settled undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students eligible for monthly living allowances of 1000 yuan, 2000 yuan, and 4000 yuan respectively, for up to 30 consecutive months.
