Intl tennis competition to held in Nansha

Nansha is gearing up to host its first major international professional tennis event of the year.

The 2025 Guangzhou Nansha International Challenger will unfold over eight consecutive days from April 27 to May 4.

This tournament is classified as an ATP Challenger Tour 75 event, featuring men's singles and doubles competitions with a total prize pool of $100,000.

Continuing its streak of hosting ATP Challenger Tour events for the third year, Nansha is set to present this tournament again during the May Day holiday period, maintaining its tradition for the second consecutive year.

The qualifying rounds are set to commence on April 27, paving the way for the main competition beginning on April 28. The men's doubles final is slated for May 3, while the men's singles champion will be crowned on May 4.

The ATP Challenger event provides Chinese tennis enthusiasts with a special chance to support local players up close and immerse themselves in the excitement of professional tennis firsthand.
