After the commencement of recruitment activities in Nansha district, various towns, streets, and key enterprises across the district promptly organized recruitment events to capitalize on the opportunity.
Following the Spring Festival holiday, Nansha's labor market is witnessing a good balance between supply and demand, with a favorable recruitment environment evident in the first week. Since the start of the year, the district has organized a total of 13 online and onsite job fairs, attracting 394 companies offering a combined total of 12,000 positions.
Positions for general workers, skilled workers, and management are currently the most in-demand. Skilled worker roles have seen a 9.21-percent year-on-year increase in average monthly salary, reaching 5,751 yuan ($791), while general worker positions offer an average monthly salary of 4,809 yuan, with a growth rate surpassing 10 percent.
Nansha's recruitment season is set to extend until March. Apart from specialized recruitment events hosted by key enterprises, there are plans to collaborate with universities, including a dedicated recruitment fair in Nansha in partnership with universities in Guangzhou.
Meanwhile, the district is working to bring together key enterprises to offer high-quality positions during the first and third quarters, fostering labor exchanges with Guizhou province.
