Nansha's Dagang town launched the Spring Flower Fair, the oldest flower fair in Guangzhou city, on Jan 18. It is being held along Fanrong Road and Donghao Road and will feature approximately 280 stalls from Jan 18 to 28, running for 11 days until the eve of Spring Festival.

First held in 2000 on Donghao Road, the fair has evolved over the past 25 years, seamlessly blending Guangzhou's traditional culture with vibrant and youthful elements to enrich the festive ambiance.

This year, the event integrates traditional culture, specialty foods, trendy Spring Festival goods, and cultural performances, providing the public with a diverse and enriching Spring Festival experience.

This year's flower fair is the biggest yet, with some exciting new highlights. It features dedicated sections for calligraphy, gourmet foods, and Spring Festival flowers and plants, catering to a diverse range of shopping needs. Organizers have announced that this year's fair boasts the highest number of stalls in the event's history.

Meanwhile, the stage performance area features a diverse array of folk performances, modern song and dance acts, and instrument performances. These captivating shows, brought to life by local art groups and enthusiasts, showcase the distinctive charm of Dagang culture. From Jan 18 to 24, a rich tapestry of over 170 unique programs will offer a cultural extravaganza for the local community, running throughout the day.
