The flagship supercharging station of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area—Nansha Huanshi West Road Multi-Functional Supercharging Station—began operating on Dec 9.

The supercharging station integrates "electric harmony, vehicle network interaction, pre-carbon neutrality, and automatic charging".

It allows 50 vehicles to be charged at once, with three charging piles equipped with vehicle network interaction functionality, reaching a maximum power of 600 kilowatts. A single second of charging is enough to support 1 kilometer of driving.

The event showcased a fully automated charging demonstration station for autonomous vehicles, with the automatic charging robot being a highlight. As the national demonstration zone for autonomous vehicles, Nansha district is expected to have over 2,000 autonomous vehicles on the road by 2025.

The Nansha power supply bureau is focusing on the development of autonomous vehicle charging equipment, achieving unmanned charging and automatic settlement through automatic charging robots and becoming the first fully automated charging demonstration station for autonomous vehicles in the country.

China Southern Power Grid has incorporated the high-quality development of electric vehicles into its development strategy, supporting Guangzhou in becoming the "Capital of Supercharging".

The station is equipped with various charging facilities. It has also introduced the Electric Harmony system, enabling multi-dimensional control through devices like the Electric Harmony Microgrid Controller, allowing "green vehicles" to utilize "green energy".
