This year, Thailand has designated the festival as one of its winter celebrations, aiming to bring a creative cultural experience.

The scheduled activities included traditional Thai dance performances, exhibitions of Thai cuisine, and workshops for the creation of water lanterns. These events provided participants with the opportunity to engage personally with the rich cultural heritage of Thailand.

The Nansha district bureau of culture, radio, television, tourism, and sports stated that Nansha has been committed to building an international exchange platform, hosting numerous Southeast Asian cultural exchange activities, and injecting vitality into the regional cultural and tourism market.

The Consulate General of Thailand in Guangzhou introduced the festival's significance, emphasizing the value of water resources in Thai culture.

The event also featured a water lantern floating segment, where participants could place lanterns on the lake's surface, symbolizing letting go of worries and wishing for peace and happiness.

With water lanterns and water birds coexisting on the lake, it showcased a harmonious symbiosis between humans and nature, providing a serene and unforgettable experience for all.
