New lithium-ion battery manufacturing base starts production in Nansha

Guangzhou Rongjie Energy Technology's lithium-ion battery manufacturing base and R&D center started operations in Nansha on Nov 28.

In only 320 days, Rongjie Group completed project planning, factory construction, equipment installation and debugging, auxiliary facility construction, and launched its production line.

This 400-mu (27-hectare) space has transformed into a leading smart and intelligent battery manufacturing base and R&D center, with a planned annual capacity and output value of 35 GWh and 35 billion yuan ($5 billion), respectively.

In addition to the lithium-ion battery manufacturing base and R&D center, Rongjie Group will also create manufacturing bases for flexible color display modules and for lithium-ion battery cathode and anode materials in Nansha.
