Young elites from Guangzhou, HK, Macao, Chengdu compete in Nansha

From Nov 25 to 26, a total of 67 young elites from Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macao, and Chengdu gathered to compete in various skills competitions.

They showcased 11 projects including sugar sculpture art - a form of intangible cultural heritage - mobile robots, Hong Kong-style milk tea brewing, molecular cocktail concoctions, nail art, a live demonstration of VR mobile application development technology, tea art, Tangka painting, shadow puppetry, and bamboo weaving.

Participants from Chengdu expressed their appreciation after attending these competitions. "Nansha offers a very beautiful living environment and is located at the Pearl River estuary, with a view of the sea, which surprised us," said one.

"The competition enhanced communication with young people from Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macao and Chengdu, enabling us to learn advanced experiences and practices," the person added.
