Nansha holds festival to promote food culture

The Nansha Food Festival was launched on Sept 20. The event, which will run until December, aims to create a delectable feast through three actions.

The first is the launch of six "city walk" routes in Nansha, including options for Hong Kong-style cuisine, exquisite Chinese dishes, signature coffee, and traditional Nansha-style morning tea.

The second is the creation of dining hotspots in Nansha's various commercial areas, bringing new vitality to the local dining scene.

The third is the compilation of a comprehensive Nansha food guide. This guide will serve as a valuable resource for promoting Nansha's food culture and attract more visitors looking to explore the flavors of the district.

The festival kicked off with a grand ceremony at the Nansha Garden Hotel, celebrating its fifth anniversary and the Mid-Autumn Festival. Combining traditional cultural elements with a delectable feast, the event provided a perfect opportunity for guests to savor the rich flavors of Nansha.

The event is co-hosted by the Nansha district commerce bureau and the Nansha District Catering Industry Association. Xie Xiaohui, director of the Nansha district commerce bureau, said that the event aims to showcase and promote the unique food culture of Nansha, enhancing Nansha's reputation as a food paradise.
