Phoenix Avenue transformation project reaches milestone

The Phoenix Avenue transformation project in Nansha has reached a new milestone with the completion of its first continuous beam pouring work for the A cross-line bridge, local media outlets reported on Sept 6.

With the main line running in a north-south direction, the project starts from Shinan Road in the north and ends at Pearl River Avenue in the south. Its branch line extends from Suxia Road to Phoenix Avenue. Once completed, it will serve as an important backbone road in Nansha's transportation network.

The project is expected to be completed by June 30, 2024. After it is opened to the public, it will play a vital role in enhancing Nansha's overall transportation infrastructure. In turn, this will further support the connectivity and development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
