A six-day talent study event was recently held in Guangzhou, local media outlets reported on Aug 31.
During the event, 30 outstanding doctoral and postdoctoral fellows, entrepreneurs, and foreign talents from renowned overseas universities such as MIT, Yale University, Carnegie Mellon University, and Durham University, engaged in a variety of activities. This included industry observation and idea sharing through in-depth visits to industrial parks, universities, and cultural museums in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macao.
The group experienced Nansha's unique culture by visiting the district's planning exhibition hall and yacht club. In addition, they gained insights into Nansha's talent development environment and its innovative technologies at major innovation platforms, such as the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), and Guangdong Medical Valley.
This facilitated the connection and cooperation between talents and enterprises in the fields of sci-tech, finance, business management, and mechanical engineering, while also continuously expanding Nansha's talent pool.
