Guangdong Medical Valley celebrates 9th anniversary

The 9th anniversary of Guangdong Medical Valley, as well as an industry exchange conference, was held on Aug 28 in the Nansha Life Science Park.

People from government agencies, universities, enterprises, financial institutions, and medical institutions came together, to share the achievements of Guangdong Medical Valley in the development of the biopharmaceuticals industry.

It has been settled in Nansha for more than nine years since 2014. During the period, the local government and resident enterprises have jointly created a distinctive biopharmaceutical industry cluster, becoming the first national-level sci-tech enterprise incubator.

In 2016, it cast its gaze beyond Nansha and expanded to cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, such as Zhuhai, Foshan and Zhongshan.

Guangdong Medical Valley built an industrial ecosystem that features "industry cluster + industry services + industry investment". Currently, it has attracted and developed innovative elements in the biopharmaceutic realm, making significant contributions to the industrial development of Nansha.
