Nansha attracts global attention at 31st Guangzhou Fair

The 31st Guangzhou Fair kicked off at the China Import and Export Fair Complex on Aug 25, with the exhibition stand operated by the city's Nansha district receiving over 2,000 visitors on the opening day.

The model of a tunnel boring machine displayed by Nansha drew the interest of Wina Simweetwa Muchindu, acting consul-general of Zambia in Guangzhou. The envoy expressed an interest in collaborating with China Railway Tunnel Stock, to help upgrade the national railway in Zambia.

Manufacturer Hechuang Auto Technology also sparked the interest of visitors with its new Hechuang V09 electric vehicle. It is the first mass-produced MPV equipped with an 800V high-voltage system. It offers users a 4C super-fast charging solution, allowing for a 10-minute quick charge and extending the range by at least 400 kilometers.

Other highlights at the Nansha exhibition area included a model of the CZ-1 rocket manufactured by CAS Space and the newly launched series of tea bags from Chali Group, a leading retail brand in China's tea industry.

Nansha's exhibition stand provided a comprehensive display of the district's socio-economic development, business environment, advanced manufacturing industry, and technological innovation.
