Updated: 2023-08-21nansha.guangdong.chinadaily.com.cn

A great sightseeing mini train was launched on Aug 18 in the Nansha Bay area, consisting of a locomotive and three carriages with a capacity of 72 passengers.

It takes folks on a memorable scenic journey through winding shaded paths, visiting Nansha's popular attractions such as the Nansha Grand Hotel, Puzhou Garden, Water Street and Nansha Tianhou Palace. The total length of the route is about 1 kilometer.

Compared with traditional sightseeing trains, the rail-free electric mini train is not only energy-efficient but also environmentally friendly.

Nansha Bay is one of the three pilot zones under the Nansha Plan and serves as a starting point for cooperation between Nansha, Hong Kong and Macao. Located adjacent to the coast and hills, it boasts stunning natural beauty.

In order to showcase the charm of this area to the fullest and take advantage of the coastal resources in Nansha district, the mini train was created to connect all the beautiful sights and allow visitors to enjoy the scenic views along the way.
