Headquarters for overseas talents opens in Nansha

A new headquarters of the National Offshore Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Professionals opened in Guangzhou's Nansha district on Aug 2.

The headquarters aims to gather a raft of overseas talents, projects and service organizations that meet the development needs of key industries in Nansha, promote the settlement of overseas sci-tech achievements in the district, and create an important window for it to interface with the world.

South China Technology Commercialization Center, operator of the headquarters, has signed up to offer services such as information consultations and policy promotions to help Nansha attract high-quality talents and investment.

Currently, Nansha has attracted more than 20,000 high-level talents, with an average annual growth rate of over 100 percent in the past five years.
