Nansha launches hydrogen-powered car-hailing service

Guangzhou's Nansha district launched a revolutionary hydrogen-powered ride-hailing service on Aug 2, marking a significant step towards reducing carbon emissions and promoting eco-friendly mobility solutions.

Citizens are able to hail hydrogen-powered cars through designated mini-programs and apps. The pricing follows the fare rates set by the ride-hailing platforms for premium rides. Currently, these cars operate from 8 am to 5:30 pm daily, and only serve Nansha district.

Hydrogen-powered cars are known for their zero-emission capabilities, as they only produce water vapor.
