The Guangzhou government issued a notice on May 4, inviting public opinions on the list of green areas in several Guangzhou parks that will serve as tent sites.

The list includes 73 shared tent sites, along with 29 green areas that are designated for other activities. Among them, seven large lawns in Nansha district will be opened for visitors to pitch tents.

Nansha Children's Park will open two such lawns in its Seahorse Maze Square area and in the lawn area around the park's beach.

The open tent sites in Jiaomen Park are the lawn area around the Guangzhou Foreign Language School, the lawn area in the Binjang Garden, and the lawn area near Huangge town, on the west bank of the park.

Tents can also be pitched on the large lawns in Green Axis Park and in Butterfly Island Park. With this initiative, people can embrace the blue sky and white clouds without burning in the hot sun.
