On the afternoon of March 12, an exhibition of works by artists from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) was unveiled in Nansha district. It will run until March 31.
More than 60 artists from the Greater Bay Area were invited to create over 80 artworks for the exhibition. They used ink and brush to depict the mountains and waters of Lingnan, as well as the various fruits, trees and flowers, while also portraying the human landscape to tell the story of the Greater Bay Area.
Lu Hui, head of bureau of culture, radio, television, tourism and sports of Nansha district, said the district will further strengthen its cooperation and exchanges with the artists to promote Nansha as a cultural highland.
"Nansha is not only a fertile land for development and construction, but also for cultural creativity, and we hope that a diverse range of world-class cultural and artistic forms will take root and flourish in Nansha, making it a source of cultural and artistic creativity," Lu added.
