The 2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Art Cooperation Summit and the 1st GBA Film Cooperation Forum were held in Nansha district, Guangzhou on Feb 24.
The events aimed to stimulate the innovative vitality of the film industry in the Greater Bay Area, open up a wider space for film cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and jointly promote film culture within the Greater Bay Area.
To strengthen cooperation and exchanges in the film industry, the forum invited influential guests from the film industry, government agencies, and universities, to deliver keynote speeches and hold dialogues on industry development, technological support, education, and training.
Yin Hong, deputy head of the China Film Association, presented his suggestions and thoughts on film development under the title "the troika of film development in the Greater Bay Area". According to Yin, talent, enterprises and films are indispensable, as they are an important cornerstone for the healthy development of the Greater Bay Area's film industry.
