The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Talents Collaborative Development Office was inaugurated in Nansha International Talent Port on Jan 5. At the event, an agreement was also signed between Nansha, Hong Kong and Macao to collaboratively develop talents.
The event was held in venues in Nansha, Hong Kong and Macao while broadcasting live at the same time. This was done to intentionally display the development in cooperation between the three regions in regards to the cultivation of talents.
The office is expected to establish a regular consultation and exchange mechanism, as well as a long-term cooperation mechanism, to bring into play the advantages of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in terms of talent resources and innovation vitality.
The three regions aim to promote the interactive, complementary and mutually beneficial development of their talent resources, so as to create a better cooperation system in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
To date, Nansha has gathered about 20,000 high-level talents and dozens of academicians. The average annual growth of Nansha's high-level talents in the past five years exceeded 100 percent, which leads the rankings in the Greater Bay Area.
