The groundbreaking ceremony was recently held for the Greater Bay Area Innovation Port project, which is located in the Qingsheng hub block of the Guangdong-Hong Kong In-depth Cooperation Park, local media outlets reported on Dec 20.

The project will be developed and constructed by Guangzhou Nansha Development and Construction Group. It will cover an area of about 20,000 square meters and consist of 8 buildings, including 6 multi-storey office buildings and 2 high-rise towers. The project has obtained a total investment of about 1.5 billion yuan ($214.95 million).

The project will strive to create an intelligent, high-end and dynamic office environment, as well as form an innovative and diversified scientific and technological space that integrates industry, life and business services.

In terms of architectural layout, the design arranges two office towers in the southwest and northeast corners of the site. The cultural and arts center, with its unique segmentation, becomes a highlight of the project.

The project design also introduces a variety of green spaces such as viewing terraces, ecological atriums, and roof gardens to form an ecological system that connects indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as enhancing the ecological office experience.
