Nansha-based institute highlights at 24th CHTF

A number of scientific research achievements developed by Guangzhou Software Technology Research Institute and its incubators were showcased at the 24th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) in Shenzhen, which was held from Nov 15 to 19.

The smart light pole cloud platform exhibited by the institute is an information system that uses smart light poles as a carrier to provide unified display, management, and linkage services for multi-source heterogeneous equipment.

It can provide functions like smart lighting, video security, emergency alarm, environmental monitoring, such as capturing vehicle parking violations, information release, as well as intelligent broadcasting.

The platform contributes to smart city construction in terms of safe, efficient, convenient, and sustainable municipal internet of things infrastructure services. To date, it has been promoted and applied in places including Guangzhou, Jiangmen, Huizhou, Ningbo, as well as Beijing.

In addition, the institute displayed a variety of products and projects, such as a car and road collaboration intelligent roadside terminal, an intelligent food and drug supervision platform, as well as a comprehensive application based on domestic blockchain technology.

The institute has been based in Guangzhou's Nansha district for almost 11 years. It is deeply engaged in the application technology research in the field of smart cities, with its research achievements applied in all fields of the district's construction.
