HKUST (GZ) to admit HK, Macao, Taiwan undergrad students in 2023

The Guangzhou campus of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) plans to admit undergraduate students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan next year in the three majors of artificial intelligence, data science and big data technology, as well as intelligent manufacturing engineering, local media outlets reported on Nov 3.

It aims to improve the enrollment mechanism of Nansha-based universities for Hong Kong and Macao students, as well as integrate high-quality education resources to help cultivate innovative talents with an international perspective, thus prompting the coordinated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
