Nansha has a beautiful ecological environment and unique tourism attractions like Huangshanlu Forest Park and Nansha Tianhou Palace, which has contributed to its high quality of life.

It has been dubbed the happiest city in China and won the gold award for the world's most livable city, which was selected by the UN.

Covering a total area of about 1,328 hectares, Huangshanlu Forest Park is an open park and was named after its two main mountain peaks of Huangshan and Lushan.

It is also where southern Guangzhou's highest mountain peak, Longshou Peak, which is also known as Huang Peak, is located. The peak is 295 meters above sea level. Thanks to its unique geographical position, the forest park has the best panoramic views of Nansha district.

Nansha Tianhou Palace, a national 4A-level scenic spot, is close to Lingdingyang, the estuary of the Pearl River, and is located at the southeast foot of Dajiao Mountain.

It is built along the mountain and has several famous scenic spots, including the memorial archway, the mountain gate, the east and west Linghui Tower, the Jiaying Pavilion, the main hall, as well as the Nanling Tower on the top of the mountain.
