The unveiling ceremony of the football training bases and the branch schools of Nansha's youth amateur sports school was held at Nansha Lanhe No 2 Middle School on Oct 19.

Qu Chuliang, coach of the Chinese women's football team, will be the school's honorary principal and a football consultant.

In order to further improve the level of youth competitive sports, Nansha has adopted an innovative "fenceless" training base model to break through the traditional management of amateur sports schools.

As a result, 30 training base branch schools and seven training bases have been set up to deepen the integrated development of sports and education.

Branch schools in Nansha will focus on a certain advantageous sports event and collective ball games, such as track-and-field. They will also make full use of after-school time and holidays to organize professional training events.

In addition to daily training, Nansha plans to carry out sports training of the same project on the 37 newly-added training bases, effectively training and providing high-level and high-quality sports talents for the country.
