Mead Johnson China to set up operations in Nansha

Mead Johnson China business group held a new product launch conference and cross-border partner conference in Guangzhou on Sept 26, during which the group and the Guangzhou Nansha district confirmed their intentions to cooperate.

The move makes Mead Johnson the first well-known international brand to set up operations in Nansha since the release of the Nansha Plan.

Mead Johnson China and Nansha will carry out active discussions on the interconnection of digital infrastructure, cross-border trade and big data services. At the same time, the two parties will conduct in-depth exchanges on the global traceability of cross-border products and coordinate global resources to serve China.

Zhu Dingping, president of Mead Johnson China business group, said that as a national-level new area, Nansha is an important hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and one of the most attractive destinations for foreign businesses. Nansha has concrete plans and unique experiences and advantages in digital infrastructure and cross-border digital service trade systems as well as promising future development prospects.

The layout of Mead Johnson China in Nansha is part of efforts by the company to implement localized operations. Mead Johnson is expected to contribute to the construction and development of Nansha's overall industrial ecology, he added.
