The first building of Phase III of Wanqingsha Resettlement Area, a key livelihood project in Guangdong province, was successfully capped in Wanqingsha town, Nansha district on Sept 25.
The resettlement area is close to the Nansha Hub and the entrance of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, boasting obvious transportation advantages.
The third phase of the resettlement area has a total area of 25,000 square meters and a total construction area of 81,000 sq m. It will mainly consist of six 25-story residential buildings, commercial facilities, and other supporting facilities. The resettlement houses are all elaborately decorated.
"Since the start of construction in March this year, we have arranged the construction period reasonably and carefully organized the construction," said Liu Hui, the project leader of the China Railway 25th Bureau Group Cooperation.
At present, there are about 360 workers involved in the project's construction. Except for Building 16, which has been capped, the rest of the residential buildings are all under construction. "All buildings have completed the first 20 floors, and it is expected that the main structure of all buildings will be capped in mid-October," Liu added.
After completion, it will provide 864 sets of resettlement houses for villagers, play a leading role in the comprehensive development and construction of Wanqingsha, promote the rational planning of the area, as well as enhance the competitiveness of investment promotion.
