Nansha announced to issue leisure agriculture and rural tourism routes in the near future at a conference preparing for the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival.

On the day of the conference, important projects in agriculture and rural areas were also signed, unveiled, and awarded. The celebration featured a variety of programs that gave farmers a chance to rejoice over the harvest.

In Nansha district, the grain planting area is 13,700 mu (913 hectares), the vegetable planting area is 148,900 mu, the garden fruit area is 86,000 mu, the total output of aquatic products is 52,900 metric tons, and the per capita disposable income of rural permanent residents. The per capita disposable income of rural permanent residents was 22,014 yuan ($3,105), a year-on-year growth rate of 5.86 percent.

In 2020 and 2021, the total agricultural output value of Nansha ranked first in Guangzhou for two consecutive years.
