Nansha to increase investment in HKUST (Guangzhou)

Lionel M Ni, provost of HKUST (Guangzhou), spoke highly of the construction of the school and expressed his gratitude to the public at a press conference held recently.

"HKUST (Guangzhou) is a newly established university, and we feel very honored and understand we have a great responsibility," he said.

In the next three years, Guangzhou's Nansha district will increase its investment in the school with the Guangzhou municipal science and technology bureau, striving to strengthen the school's basic and applied research, and support the construction of the HKUST (Guangzhou) Sci-tech Park, said Ouyang Jianhua, deputy head of Nansha district.
