Nansha issues professional title certificates to HK, Macao talents

Nansha district issued professional title certificates to 16 Hong Kong and Macao engineering talents on July 27.

In November 2021, Nansha first released the Administrative Measures for the Evaluation of Professional Titles of Hong Kong and Macao Talents in Construction and Transportation Engineering in the Nansha District of Guangzhou, opening up the channel for Hong Kong and Macao talents with professional qualifications to directly apply for senior professional titles.

The measures have formulated the corresponding professional title recognition policy for Hong Kong and Macao professional qualifications. People with professional qualifications in 20 majors in Hong Kong and Macao engineering fields, such as architecture, civil engineering, and planning, can directly apply for the corresponding grade of professional title if they meet certain conditions. Those with the highest qualifications can directly apply for a senior professional title.

Nansha district received a total of 29 applications for professional titles from Hong Kong and Macao talents within Guangzhou, covering senior, deputy senior, middle, and junior titles, involving engineering design, construction management, as well as other professional fields. After strict deliberation, a total of 16 Hong Kong and Macao engineering and technical candidates were approved. Among them, three people have obtained senior professional titles.

In addition to construction and transportation engineering majors, the Nansha human resources and social security bureau approved supporting Hong Kong and Macao tax-related professionals, as well as Hong Kong and Macao tour guides and leaders to facilitate their job application approval in the Nansha area of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone in April 2022.

In the future, Nansha will seize development opportunities, continue to promote the evaluation of professional titles and professional qualifications for Hong Kong and Macao talents, as well as comprehensively promote the exchange and integration of talents in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.
