A conference discussing the joint building and sharing of the Global Traceability Center and the establishment of common implementation standards for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was held on July 15 in Nansha district.
Representatives of more than 30 enterprises, institutes and business associations from Hong Kong and Macao that manage the whole industrial chain of commodity trade participated in the conference. Among them were Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), Alibaba, JD and Coayu Robot.
The Global Traceability Center in Nansha is a pioneer in the new infrastructure development of China's digital economy and is included in the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The center converts information into data and is equally open to governments, enterprises, and consumers around the world.
Nansha is now seeking cooperation with national ministries and well-known enterprises to build an innovation platform for the traceability industry to promote the construction of innovative industrial clusters with a global influence.
Moreover, the center has incubated eight common implementation standards of the global traceability system in the Greater Bay Area, which are regarded as a pilot for finding solutions for applying Chinese characteristics to the field of digital governance.
