Safety net for Nansha's electricity supply to be established

Nansha district and the Guangzhou power supply bureau of Guangdong Power Grid Corporation signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the construction of a new power system in Nansha on July 9.

In the future, the two parties will jointly promote the construction of a new electric power system, create an example of low-carbon energy development, as well as provide a reliable, clean, and low-carbon power supply for Nansha.

According to the agreement, the two parties will also work together to reach the national dual carbon goal of reaching carbon peak by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060. They will also jointly build a national-level 5G + digital power network and work to achieve international leading electric-hydrogen fusion.

In addition, the two sides will jointly promote the development and utilization of clean energy, the construction of a diversified energy supply system, as well as the low-carbon transformation of energy.

At the same time, the two parties will jointly promote the high-quality development of Nansha's power network to ensure the district's safe and reliable power supply, bolstering its economic and social development.
