Located in the southern area of Nansha, the "Three Valleys" are close to the industrial development belt of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and are also an important part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Innovation Cooperation Zone.
Using the "Three Valleys" as the focal point of the Nansha strategic new industrial belt, the Greater Bay Area's "Gold Coast" and a "corridor" that links the east and west banks of the Pearl River both contribute to the development of a new industrial system.
The total area of the "Three Valleys" is 25.28 square kilometers.
At present, the road traffic in the "Three Valleys" is mild, and the regional traffic system has been established. There are six external connection trunk lines, two railways under construction, and 13 self-built ports that have been built by local enterprises.
The development and construction of the Valley of Biology, which primarily focuses on biomedicine, life sciences, and medical devices, have commenced. It has established itself with enterprises that produce food and biomedical products, such as Wang Lao Ji and ApicHope, whose output exceeds 18 billion yuan ($2.69 billion).
The key industrial development areas in the Digital Valley include cloud computing, big data, industrial internet, and internet of things, and related industries that have been migrating there.
Precision medicine, medical information technology, life and health, and cultural tourism are all areas of focus in the Health Valley. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Precision Medicine project, the China Minmetals Tourism project, and other enterprises in the travel and health sectors have already established themselves in the valley.
The future "Three Valleys" industrial park will not only be a work space, but also a community for living, as well as an innovative, intelligent and ecological urban demonstration area. Nansha will use the new generation of future industrial park construction concepts to build a strategic emerging industry cluster facing the Greater Bay Area.
