New vitality injected into Nansha's pharmaceutical industry

The Guangdong Provincial Medicine Administration signed an agreement with the management committee of Guangzhou Nansha Development Zone to promote the high-quality development of Nansha's pharmaceutical industry on June 8.

The agreement mainly focuses on improving the innovation and R&D capabilities of the biopharmaceutical industry, building an innovative service platform for the biopharmaceutical industry, as well as constructing an ecological demonstration zone for the medical and health industry in Nansha.

Some of the cooperation items were specifically proposed and tailored around Nansha's needs, such as supporting Nansha in carrying out the reform of the medicine marketing authorization holder system in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Nansha will also further promote the high-quality ecological development of the medical and health industry, as well as promote Nansha to become a hub for the development of the biomedicine and health industry in the Greater Bay Area in the future.
