Nansha sci-tech workers among top in Guangzhou

Five science and technology workers from Nansha were named among the "Top Science and Technology Workers in Guangzhou" on May 30, National Science and Technology Workers' Day.

The list was released at an event to celebrate the National Science and Technology Workers' Day in Guangzhou. 

Yu Guangping of the Guangzhou Industrial Intelligence Research Institute was among those listed. He is an expert in industrial automation and industrial internet, dedicated to the application and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements in green manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing. 

Feng Junxi, a teacher at Nansha Dagang High School, was listed due to his outstanding achievements in science popularization. He started a number of science popularization activities at his school, leading to the school being recognized as a municipal and provincial base for science popularization and education.

Also among those listed was Yang Huijun from Guangdong Chengyi Industrial Group, who made great contributions to the development of aquaculture. He undertook a number of major fishery technology projects and helped farmers become more efficient through the use of technology.

The other two listed workers were Yuan Feng from Guangzhou Software Technology Research Institute and Jia Lin from Nansha Hospital of Guangzhou First People's Hospital.
