Nansha's intelligent logistics enterprise to start business

The joint venture of Pony AI and Sinotrans, Cyantron Logistics, was set up and started business on April 1.

Cyantron's headquarters is located in Nansha district, Guangzhou, Guangdong province, and it has set up its first subsidiary in Qingdao, Shandong province. At present, the two sides have jointly invested in more than 100 trucks for their container transport business. Based on Pony AI's existing business, Cyantron begins to apply autonomous driving technology and an intelligent logistics platform in its work.

The establishment of Cyantron is an important step for Pony AI to promote the commercialization of autonomous driving technology. Autonomous driving technology will be applied in logistics on a large scale through Cyantron's work, which will greatly improve the safety and operational efficiency of the logistics transportation sector. 

Real business practice and rich data accumulation will also accelerate the technology transition process, which will significantly reduce the cost of logistics transportation and transform the logistics industry in the future.

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, autonomous driving technology has become more socially valuable to the public due to its "contactless delivery" advantage. Since 2020, Pony AI has been engaged in contactless autonomous driving delivery in California, the United States, as well as Guangzhou's Liwan and Nansha districts.

In addition, self-driving trucks have helped COVID-19 prevention and control measures by carrying out large-scale material transportation in quarantined areas, easing logistics pressure.

In the future, Cyantron will continue to explore the application of autonomous driving technology in the field of logistics and use smart technology to empower the logistics industry to create a professional intelligent logistics platform.
