Nansha acts as demonstration area for Greater Bay Area

Since the rise of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Nansha has constantly deepened its cooperation with Hong Kong, Macao, and surrounding areas thanks to its positioning as a demonstration area for comprehensive cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.

Nansha promoted the construction of a "half-hour traffic circle" in the Greater Bay Area, and accelerated a number of rail transit, high-speed expressways, and shipping and logistics projects.

The advisory committee on the cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong was established in Nansha, with 16 Hong Kong and 10 mainland members appointed to facilitate in-depth co-operation between Guangdong and Hong Kong.

Nansha accelerated the construction of the Guangzhou branch of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and continued to deepen the cooperation of scientific and technological innovation with Hong Kong and Macao.

The district has strengthened complementary industrial advantages with Hong Kong and Macao with nearly 3,000 enterprises settling there.

At present, it is more convenient for young people from Hong Kong and Macao to start their own businesses or find jobs in Nansha.
