The Beidou Bridge reopened to traffic on Jan 19, more than three months ahead of schedule.
During the construction of the Beidou Bridge emergency rescue and repair project, the participating units tried every means to optimize the construction process, rationally arranging the construction period to the maximum extent so that construction was completed in advance in a reliable, safe, and controllable manner without sacrificing quality.
All of the participating units accelerated the construction of the bridge's steel pile foundation with temporary piers on the premise of fully grasping geological changes and vibration of test piles, according to the Nansha district bureau of transportation.
The construction units successfully finished pouring the concrete of the cover beam before Jan 7 and the bridge's emergency rescue and repair project was completed and passed acceptance on Jan 17.
